Sisterhood - Christmas Music 'Name That Tune'

Hello friends!
Christmas is right around the corner!  So, The Sisterhood of Crafters will only be having ONE challenge this month, allowing the Sisters and Step Sisters ample time to get all the cookies baked, presents bought & wrapped and most of all, spend happy time with their families.

With that being said, our MONTH LONG challenge is:

NAME THAT TUNE
(based on Christmas Music)

The Sisters will each be making TWO cards to share with you today.  Giving you LOTS of inspiration and hopefully you'll come join in on the fun!  We've created our cards with a holiday song in mind.  We look forward to seeing what YOU come up with!!

Over the River and Through the Woods to Grandmother's house we go ...

What fun I had making this card.  Torn white paper for the snow is so easy and so effective.  Of course, I had to add a little 'glisten' to the snow which made this card very festive.  I love how this little 'scene' came together.

Recipe:
Papers:  White card stock, Goldenrod card stock
Accessories:  Cheery Lynn Designs #B477 (Snowflake portion of die set), Memory Box #98536 Cottage in the Woods, Impression Obsession #DIE 108 Sled, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Stickles, Large sponge dauber, Tim Holtz Broken China distress ink

White Christmas

Nothing is more beautiful that an fresh snowfall on Christmas morning!  That is what I had in mind when creating my second card.  This is strictly a DIE CUT creation.  No ink, stamps, ribbon ... I didn't even add any sparkle to this one!  (yet that is!)

Recipe:
Papers:  White card stock
Accessories:  Impression Obsession #DIE211 Snowflake Background, Simple Oval die cut using one of the dies in the Creative Expressions Sue Wilson 'Australian Collection' #CED2204 set, Cheery Lynn Designs #B186 Merry Christmas, Cheery Lynn Designs #B326 Santa's Sleigh and Reindeer

We hope you'll come join in our Christmas 'Name That Tune' Challenge and please be sure to pop over to see what my loving 'sistah's' have created for your inspiration!

Here are a few challenges to share in today:
City Crafter Challenge - Glittery Snowflakes
Crafty Sentiments Design - Christmas
Holly Jolly Christmas - Anything Goes Christmas
Try It On Tuesday - Winter Whites

LOTS to do in the next two weeks starting with our Annual Neighborhood Holiday Get Together that hubby & I have hosted since we moved into the neighborhood over 10 years ago.  It will be this Sunday starting at 3:00  (all food/beverage/fun is provided) and I'm really looking forward to 'catching up' with everyone!  Enough said ... I'd better get busy!
As always ...
Thanks for stopping by today and ...
