Tutti Designs - Doves & Rings

Happy Sunday Friends!
Today I'm sharing another wedding card created for the Tutti Designs Blog using
one of the beautiful April Release dies called Dove's and Rings.
You can find this die and many, many more at the Tutti Designs Store.

No automatic alt text available.

What do you think?

I first die cut from a silver sheet of the Paper Studio 'Glittery Cardstock'
then die cut again from black card stock in order to give
my die a 'shadow' effect.

Once again I have used dimensional tape behind my birds to pop them up for dimension on my card.  The lower (black) design on my design paper is flocked which gives more elegance to my glittery doves.  A strip of black organza ribbon threaded through a sparkly ribbon slide adorns the bottom portion of my card while three little Nuvo glitter drops help balance out the upper right corner.

Another quick, easy and beautiful wedding design using Tutti Designs die cuts!

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.

Ladybug Time of Year ... ugh!

Hello All ... Happy Thursday!
Since it's a gloomy day outdoors today, I get to stay inside
and play ... the mulching will have to wait!

But before I begin getting inky and make a mess, I wanted to
share with you a cute card I made awhile back using a Bugaboo digital
image called 'flowerlblove'.
Bugaboo Stamps

I felt it was the right time to share this
card since I have already started seeing lady bugs showing up
in my crafting room ... ugh!  Here we go!  LOL

I've used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring and after coloring the flowers yellow, I was in search of a designer paper in my stash that would help bring my image to life ... I think I found just the right one!  What do you think?

In my scrapbooking stash I came across a sheet of EK Success dimensional ladybug stickers so I just had to position a few here and there to tie in with this adorable image.

Sisterhood of Crafters - It's All Black & White

Hello Friends!
Today I'm happy to share a creation for a new challenge at
The Sisterhood of Crafters.
Vickie is our hostess and the theme she has chosen is:

 IT'S ALL BLACK & WHITE

I love making black & white creations so I was
excited about Vickie's choice!  My card actually came together in about
five minutes!!!  I had some die cuts pre cut and sitting on my work
station just waiting for the right time and today's the day!

My die cut is from Tutti Designs ... 'Happy Birthday Square'.
My card is A6 in size and it fit beautifully on my black card stock background panel.  I've had this plaid ribbon on my ribbon board for literally years ... I don't have a lot left but enough for a simple accent on this birthday wish.  Three little pearl drops created with Nuvo White Crystal Drops in the corner and Diamond Stickles in the flower centers and my card is ready for the birthday celebration!

Tutti Designs - Mr. & Mrs.

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today I'm sharing a quick & easy Wedding card
as my design team creation for the Tutti Designs Blog
using the Mr. & Mrs. die from the Tutti Designs April Release of wedding favorites.

Image may contain: 1 person

By simply using two sheets of sparkly designer paper, I was able to create this quick, easy & BEAUTIFUL wedding card. For today's card I have chosen the silver and blue sheets from the Paper Studio 'Glittered Cardstock' 4.5" x 6.5" paper pack purchased at Hobby Lobby.

To make this beautiful die stand out just a bit more I used the Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Rectangles to die cut a background panel.  I also used the 'Nesting Stitched Hearts' to add just a bit more embellishment.  Oh! and I should mention the two smallest hearts used in my design are the ones that popped out of the Mr. & Mrs. die cut.

After die cutting and gathering my 'pieces', I laid out the hearts where they best accented the Mr. & Mrs. die cut then added dimensional tape to the back before affixing to the silver sparkly design paper.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.

Untie the Ribbons . . .

Happy Day All!
Today I have two things to share with you!
First is a card I created this morning to satisfy a couple of challenges that caught my eye!  First is the Butterfly Challenge which requires 'Layers and the color Cream' and secondly the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge asking for a 'bit of sparkle'.  And, here's what I came up with . . .

I love using layers on my creations so the Butterfly Challenge really appealed to me!
A list of all products used will be at the end of this post.
I was actually able to use up a few 'bits & bobs' that were laying on
my work station from other projects (love when that happens).

Close Up of the Sparkle
A few other challenges to share in:
Aud Sentiments Challenge - ATG + Sentiment
Cards 4 Galz Challenge #47 - Add some texture
The Paper Shelter Challenge #294 - Stitching (faux or real)

SECONDLY ...
If you recall, a few weeks ago my friend Sandy came and stayed
with us for a week in order to attend the annual Adventures in Stamping
convention and do some family / friends visiting.  She moved to N.C. a few
years ago and you know how it is when you get back in the area ... so many things to do & people to see!

Anyways, look what came in the mail for us the other day from Sandy . . .

ISN'T IT GORGEOUS!!!
I have never made a 'shadow box' card like this but I will be
using Sandy's gorgeous card as my sample to give it a try!  The details on this
creation are AMAZING and just gorgeous!  Oh yea, and she also included
a gift card to our favorite breakfast joint inside an awesome
gift card holder within this beautiful card!

AND . . . THIS is the awesome handmade box she
made and mailed my gorgeous card in!  It was a little 'smooshed'
but not bad at all!  She is retired for the USPS so she knows
what will mail and what won't!  I would have been afraid to do this!
THANKS SANDY!!

Well hubby is wanting me to come sit on the deck and enjoy a bite of lunch
so I'd better skadaddle!

Thanks for stopping by ...
As always . . .

Double D - Flowers Galore

Hello All!
It's time once again for a new challenge at the

Today's theme is FLOWERS GALORE
and here's the beautiful mood board designed
for inspiration . . .

I'm happy to say Team Darlene is the host for this challenge
and they have come up with some amazing creations ... please be sure to
pop over and take a peek!

Here's what came together for me today . . .

Once again I'm using up some scraps and off cuts
on today's card.  I somehow end up with so many bits & bobs
that I don't want to discard so I just keep piling them up
and pull from those piles when ever I can.
Do you do that???  LOL

I began my creation with the Memory Box Calla Oval Wreath
which was colored with various ink colors that remain on my finger daubers ... then overlaid with Prima flowers.
Memory Box - Dies - Calla Oval Wreath

I first thought I would put a sentiment in the center of my wreath but then decided a birdhouse would look better.  So, I chose the Poppy Stamps Carolina Birdhouse and Memory Box Contempo Birds.

To add another layer of depth,  I die cut this pretty Memory Box Large Antilles Floral Right Corner  and popped up the flowers with small Heartfelt Creations pop dots.

Never enough birthday cards . . .

Hello All!
How's the weather in your neck of the woods?
It has been fabulous here in Ohio!
Which means I've been spending more time outdoors and
less time in my crafting cave!  {sigh}

BUT ... I wanted to play along in a few challenges and have a quick & cute card to share with you today!  The first challenge is always one of my 'GoTo' challenges and that is the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch they are showcasing this week:
Okay ... so now I have the sketch I want to follow ... next is my focus image!  And for that I decided to check out my file of digital images and found this cute image from Bugaboo called 'Frame It Balloon Boy' so I'll also be sharing in their Bugaboo May Crafty Awesomeness challenge.

I just never seem to have enough kids birthday cards in my sale box so that is the theme I'm going with today.
After coloring my image using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, I decided to pull my paper patterns using his shirt as my inspiration.  I found these cute papers in an older American Crafts 6x6 Dots & Stripes paper pad.

Tutti Designs - Forever

Happy Sunday Everyone
and
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
to all the Mom's out there!

It's my turn to share a new creation at the Tutti Designs Blog and today I'm sharing a creation using three die sets. One of which is from our latest  Wedding themed April Release.  These of course are all available at the Tutti Designs Store.

The die sets I have used today are:

I wanted to keep my card relatively clean & simple but I also wanted to add dimension and texture so my first thought was to add dimension by popping up this fabulous wedding car!

This was an easy 3 step process:
*  Die cut three car panels
* Add dimensional tape to the back of two of the cars
* Attach each panel together.

By using a Swiss Dot Embossing Folder for my background panel, I've achieve the texture I was looking for.  I used three of the dies from the heart set.  The smallest (#1) for my sentiment and the #4 & #6 dies for my open heart panel behind my car.    The I & U letters are from the Memory Box Classic Upper Alphabet die set.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.

Imagine That!

Happy Saturday Afternoon All!
What a beautiful day we are having here in Ohio.
It started out a bit cool but the sun came out and it's a glorious day!

This morning I received this fabulous digi set

and couldn't wait to use it!  And it came just in
the nick of time since I need a birthday card for a little
girl.  Her party is tomorrow .. yikes!  Better late then never they say!  LOL
These PRECOLORED images help make
for a fast card when you are forgetful like I have a tendency
to be these days!  LOL  Here's what I created . . .

I printed my image on a 4x6 scrap of white card stock then
die cut it using the Memory Box 'Cross Stitched Frame Borders' die set.
A polka dot background and a few Cloud 9 Designs 'rain drops'
and my card is party ready!!

There's a new monthly challenge going on right now at
Imagine That! Creative Playground blog and the theme is Anything Goes.
So I'm headed over to share this fun creation.
Then it's time to make & enjoy 'Dinner on the Deck' ... YAY!

Crazy 4 Challenge - Shade of Green
Simply Create Too Challenge - Use a digi stamp
